Care guide
Every textile I weave is made to last. Natural fibres have remarkable qualities and reward thoughtful care. Following a few simple guidelines will help preserve their beauty for many years to come.
Merino Wool Textiles
- Airing: Merino wool naturally resists odours and dirt. In many cases, airing your textile outdoors is all that is needed to refresh it.
- Washing: Hand wash only in lukewarm water (maximum 30°C / 86°F) using a gentle wool detergent. Avoid rubbing, twisting, or wringing the fabric.
- Drying: Gently press excess water into a clean towel. Lay flat to dry, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
Storage
When not in use, store your scarves loosely rolled or folded, preferably in a cotton bag. For additional protection, you may add a sprig of lavender or a small sachet of dried lavender.
